I made this drawing slowly, over two weeks, during the first lockdown in March 2020. During my daily lockdown walks, I’d noticed that my looking was slowing down and I was seeing more in streets I thought I knew well. The same began to happen as I looked out of my flat window at home. I wanted this drawing to record the tiny events I noticed ( a pigeon taking off, a crow pecking moss…) within the expansive space beyond the confines of my flat.
