Urban Route Series 2007 - Click on an image to view each series

The images in this series are based on a  route from Marble Arch, through Hyde Park, Green Park and St James's Park, to a jetty behind Cleopatra's Needle on the Thames. Cutting a green swathe through the city, the parks create dramatic environments where the manmade and natural vie for dominance. The clusters of indiviual drawn marks, and transparent forms, suggest that although these component parts have come together to create the reality we recognise, they have the potential of tearing apart and reforming in an entirely different way.
