Mapping Paris Series 1 - 2005

This series uses a map of Paris as the starting point. The aerial viewpoints, which were evident in the earlier Railway Approach Series, have been exaggerated. The focus has also shifted from an immersion in the street itself, to a consideration of the city as a whole - through an exploration of the main entrances to, and exits from, the city, and of the routes which are carved through the city, by train lines, bridges, roads etc.
